This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped and delivered, and what to do if something goes wrong along the way.

1. Order Processing Time

All orders are reviewed and prepared within 1-5 business days after your order confirmation is received. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be handled on the next working day. During busy periods such as seasonal sales or promotion events, processing may take slightly longer due to a higher order volume. If your order is expected to be delayed beyond the normal processing window, our team will contact you directly by email to keep you informed.

2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight, dimensions and destination of your order, and the final cost is clearly displayed at the checkout page before payment is completed. Estimated delivery times: Standard Shipping: 15 business days. Please note that delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by carrier workloads, customs clearance procedures, weather conditions, remote-area routing or local holidays. Actual delivery may vary depending on your location and other logistical factors outside our control.

3. Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number and a link to follow your parcel. Tracking information may take some time to become active on the carrier's system after the parcel is handed over. You can use the tracking details at any time to check the current status of your delivery until the parcel reaches your address.

4. Incorrect Address Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout, including street name, house number, postal code and city. Christiane C van Ophem cannot be held responsible for parcels delivered to an address that is wrong, incomplete or missing details provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us due to an address error, the customer may be asked to cover the reshipment cost before a new delivery can be arranged.

5. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your parcel has not arrived beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact our support team as soon as possible so we can open an investigation with the carrier. If your order arrives with visible damage, with items missing or with accessories not included as described, please reach out to us and provide clear photos of the outer packaging and the product itself. We review each case individually and work toward a fair resolution in a timely manner.

6. Product Care and Usage Notice

Our electronics items should be used, charged and maintained according to the instructions included with each product. Please keep devices away from excessive heat, moisture and liquids, and always use compatible chargers and accessories. Christiane C van Ophem is not liable for damage caused by improper use, unauthorized disassembly, contact with water or other liquids, or failure to follow the provided user guide.

7. International Shipping and Customs Notice

For shipments crossing borders, additional customs duties, import taxes or handling fees may be charged by the destination country's authorities. These charges are determined locally and are not included in the product price or the shipping fee collected at checkout. Customers are responsible for any customs or import fees levied on their parcel. If a parcel is refused or abandoned at customs due to unpaid fees, we cannot issue a refund for the original order.
